Growing up with a background in excellent work ethic and determination, I’ve found that I put my all into any task given to me. Being an extroverted people person, I am easily able to translate these skills into people around me, making me a natural leader. This is shown by my last position as a fast food shift leader. In this position, I used my work ethic and leadership skills to lead a team and run all restaurant operations. Not only did this continually grow my leadership skills, but it quickly grew me into a fast and efficient problem solver. While it may be confusing that a fast food job has led me to a double major in finance and accounting, my background further proves my interest. Growing up with parents who both have MBAs has fueled my curiosity in the business field. I have always wondered how money and investments work. I am eager to learn in my business classes as they continue to spike my interest. I am interested in internships in the accounting or finance field and look forward to new opportunities to grow my skills and experience.
