My passion for business and finance began in high school when a finance and investing course mesmerized me. In addition to the standard coursework – stocks, bonds, and asset valuations – I devised a hypothetical portfolio that significantly outperformed the returns generated by the ‘official’ portfolio created by my teacher and classmates.At my teacher's urging, I established my own account using Think or Swim, the expert version of TD Ameritrade, and began trading stocks. Since then, my overall market intelligence has grown from fundamentals to financial engineering, sharpening my circle of competence.In addition to college courses in business, I’ve acquired six years of real-world, hands-on, experience as a Stock market investor, Entrepreneur (my first startup); and Majority shareholder of a retail business.HIGHLIGHTS AND BUSINESS PROFILE:• SUCCESSFUL STOCK INVESTOR: In 2015, in my senior year or HS, I started investing for my own account (TD Ameritrade). Since then, via stocks and commodities, I’ve earned 36.24%(YoY) over 28 quarters for myself and my investing partners.• ENTREPRENEUR: I launched a diagnostic service - started in a parking lot and expanded to three locations. This venture required me to be adaptable, innovative, and able to navigate challenges in a constantly changing environment(financially, regulatorily, and legally). • SERIOUS STUDENT OF INVESTING: I am a constant learner and am always seeking to expand my knowledge of the stock market and investing. I regularly consume articles and books on investing and model my thinking after great masters such as Jim Simons, Peter Lynch, Howard Marks, and others.• SMALL BUSINESS OPERATOR: Turned around a family business that was spiraling downward. I understand the importance of effective communication, strategic planning (analytics/empirical evidence, KPIs etc..), and continuous improvement in operations to achieve successful market share.• SPORTS: As a former high school and collegiate football quarterback, I have gained valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and goal achievement.
