Hi there!I'm a Game Designer with a Computer Science background. I graduated from UCSC with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: Computer Game Design and a Master of Science in Games and Playable Media. I like bringing stories, perspectives, and ideas to life, whether it is through programming, pictures, or words. My main interests of Game Design are in Systems, Level, Mechanics, Narrative, and UI/UX.As a person who comes from a largely creative background, I believe that interactive experiences are a powerful medium for learning and invoking empathy and understanding for a variety of situations and perspectives. I am grateful and excited for the opportunity to watch and contribute to its growth.Currently, my day job on weekdays is performing QA Testing for 2K Vegas, and I am using this experience to enhance my game development knowledge. On nights and weekends, I freelance art and work on my art store, and try to keep up with new game development tools (my current foray is UE5!). At the moment, I am working on two games - one personal game, and one community fangame as a tribute to a particular popular JRPG.
