About Jonas Tetangco, Cssbb
Jonas is the Country Representative of Catholic Relief Services in the Philippines. He is the first Filipino to hold this position.He has over 27 years extensive experience in international program management, business development, strategic management, project design, organization development, capacity strengthening, and management and leadership development. He has managed international development programs and projects that were funded by DFAT/AusAid, World Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Asian Development Bank and others. In 2007, Jonas founded DevConcepts PH, a project management and development consulting firm that specialized in project management, organization development and capacity building. DevConcepts was involved in the successful management of a number of international people-to-people programs, including: Australian volunteer programs; North-South scholarship programs; international student internship programs; corporate volunteering and CSR programs; and program/project evaluation studies.Some of his experience include managing a AUD32 Million small grants facility, international volunteer programs, project design/preparation studies, integrated area development planning, human resource and organization development initiatives, among others. He served as Consultant for a number of government agencies and supported the development of national policy guidelines, operations manuals and program management toolkits.In 2022, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by the University of the Philippines Los Baños College of Development Communication.Jonas is a seasoned trainer and adult-learning facilitator who has designed and facilitated training programs and workshops in the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia for multi-cultural participants.
