Really hard to sum up but: established the brand design function, including building up design systems, templates, and operations, and hiring our first Brand Designer and eventually our first Creative Director. Worked closely with marketing and product teams on a wide range of campaigns and collaborations. Acted as producer on many-a-project, including the rebrand, including sourcing our agency until we hired our first producer.

My freelance practice. Honestly a little bit of everything, from brand identities, to ad campaigns, to site redesigns, to user research, product design and even a little bit of 3D fabrication. Trying to keep the work clean, fresh and memorable.

Art direction, design and production for various Nike sub-brands: NSW, Women's, Men's Training, and Digital Brand Design. Projects include a absurdly-wide variety of digital experiences: campaigns, social activation, landing pages, photoshoots, and mild copywriting.

Short term contract work with OJP working on under-the-radar brands on a delicious variety of branding and retail work.

Developed, executed and art directed a cavalcade of digital and interactive marketing campaigns. Deliverables included static and rich media, homepage takeovers, landing experiences, app and website prototypes, etc. Also, enjoyed the fully-stocked bike room and delicious Motts snacks. CLIENTS: Windows Phone, Windows OS, Surface, Xbox and Magic Leap.

Design for various Nike events, including internal Sales events, Showroom design and some retail executions. Also concept work for Giro, Jordan and Dunderdon including 3D executions (via SketchUp), iBooks creation and brand explorations.

Portland, Or

Design, production, art direction, photography, illustration and mild copywriting for big brands (Nike, adidas, Reebok, Dr Martens, Intel) and small (Lynne Parker, Blue Moon Bakery, RYU). Projects ranged from logos, branding (my favorite), retail initiatives, to SketchUp renderings, photoshoots, and packaging. Bonus points: getting to re-design the company website and studio space.

Worked as an in-house freelance designer for Columbia doing a wide variety of tasks; retail graphics, window displays, point of purchase designs, hangtags, Photoshop handy work, production of two Sales Meetings where over 400 files ranging from name tags to building wraps. Also had daily sightings of the great Gert Boyle roaming the halls.

Worked as a full-time designer in the Nemo Environment department. Focused mainly on retail executions, trade show booths, window design, sales meetings, internal events and 2 complete campaigns. Clients included: Nike Soccer, Nike 6.0, Smith sunglasses, American Eagle and Nike Running.

My first design job. I started out as a Junior Designer and left as a Designer Level 2 (Nike speak). Designed, illustrated, photographed and produced a wide range of projects including: catalogs, mailers, online banners, posters, identities, websites, packaging and SketchUp renderings. Clients were both national (Nike, Procter and Gamble, and the US Army National Guard) and local (Oregon Public Broadcasting, PNCA and Portland Development Commission).

Developed signage with the Portland Chapter Chair for the 2005 & 2006 Vendor show (now known as the PDXExpo). Helped organize and arrange various vendor participation in conjunction with other Portland members.
