Participated in three modem projects that all reached market.- Had a main role in development of robust and fast transmitter calibration algorithms in Python and C, e.g. output power calibration, frequency compensation and active DC offset compensation. Obtained detailed knowledge of RF ASIC transmitter blocks and external front-end components. Used both numerical and statistical methods for optimizing performance and minimizing factory calibration time.- Device characterization of RF front-end components such as power amplifiers, couplers and filters. Lots of experience with spectrum and network analyzers, soldering and circuit debugging.- Worked in cross-functional teams with RF system engineers and firmware programmers. Participated in code reviews, schematic and PCB reviews.- Extensive debugging and optimization of the RFIC feedback receiver firmware used for output power control.- Python scripting for signal processing, optimizing RF parameters and for controlling measurement equipment- Responsible for WCDMA uplink RF performance. Layer 1 integration and 3GPP conformance testing. Specifically took part in integration of RFIC power saving features.

I was part of a team conducting research on small terminal antennas and radio propagation.- Research of resonant structures such as patch, PIFA and meander-line antennas with focus on optimizing physical size versus bandwidth, radiation efficiency and diversity performance. Made antenna prototypes to evaluate the real performance through anechoic chamber measurements.Gained both intuitive and theoretical antenna knowledge as well as EM simulation softwareexperience.- Research project with dielectric resonator antennas in cooperation with university. Project target was to gain understanding how multiple orthogonal resonant modes can be induced within one solid structure to form a compact MIMO antenna. This resulted in a triple-mode dielectric resonator antenna for 2.6 GHz. This project was of particular interest as MIMO dielectric resonator antennas was an untouched research topic. Co-authored an IEEE conference paper and patent.- Conducted and planned an indoor channel sounder measurement campaign to estimate the channel performance of various MIMO antenna arrays. From the channel data, the Shannoncapacity (data throughput) was estimated. Project resulted in an IEEE journal paper.- Performance estimation of mobile handset antennas through anechoic and reverberation chamber measurements, e.g. radiation patterns, efficiency, TIS and TRP.- MATLAB scripting for estimating MIMO performance from radiation pattern data
