UNC graduate with a dual major in Sociology and Philosophy and a minor in PPE, I am driven by a profound curiosity to understand the complexities of society, politics, and human interactions. My journey has been diverse, beginning as a dedicated bartender and line cook, which taught me the value of hard work and the importance of teamwork and leadership. My experiences have exposed me to a myriad of challenges, but they have also ignited an insatiable thirst for knowledge. I find immense joy in exploring the intricacies of art, media, and dissecting the underlying cultural and societal implications. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a lawyer when I heard my Grandfather talk about his job as a lobbyist for FedEx.Having transitioned from the hospitality industry to becoming a research assistant at UNC, I honed my analytical skills and developed a keen eye for detail. I thrive in a collaborative environment and am known for my direct and honest communication style, which enables me to be an effective team player and leader. I have excelled in every kitchen and risen to leadership positions since I was 16, and I have made considerable contributions to the research I am currently engaged with. Looking ahead, I am eager to contribute my expertise and passion to projects that examine the intersections of sociology, philosophy, and politics.
