Android Camera application lead tasked with developing the next generation camera application. This application was required to auto-detect the device capabilities and determine feature set of the camera application to be shown dynamically to the user.Led and delivered Motorola's fist Hybrid Cloud solution - Motocast on both Smartphones and tablets. This was a key differentiator for Motorola at the time and one of the few Motorola applications that could be upgraded over the Android marketplace.Integrated 3rd party solutions for Panorama, Face Detection, and improved image decoding.Led and delivered improved KPI's & user experience for Motorola's camera & gallery applications which included a complete rewrite of the camera application in a short amount of time. Gallery application improvements were CEO mandated and had to be delivered in a short amount of time with high quality (to pass carrier approvals).After the Google acquisition, selected to work with a small team to redefine experiences on Motorola devices. Drove (with Google user trialing the prototypes) first gesture recognition solution for instant launching camera ('never miss a moment').

Tasked with turning manual test suite into a fully automated test framework. Converted 3,000+ manual tests into scripts. Developed test framework to run tests and auto generate reports of the results.Worked on voice recognition / voice annotation & audio on the original Motorla V3 RAZR.Development lead for next generation voice recognition integration of Voice Signal Technology (purchased by Nuance).Camera driver lead for first 4MP camera.
