Passionately involved in European made Modern furnishings since 2000, involved with some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial sales, distribution and manufacturing. My roles have run the gamut, beginning in sales with Ligne Roset. I added management in 2005, moving into leadership of a single showroom, then moved up to Director, East (eighteen showrooms) at Design Within Reach. I then managed the Chicago Showroom & Warehouse for Luminaire; this led me to the desire to start my own showroom, ModMobili in Denver, CO, 2012. Due to market forces, we made the choice to join forces with Studio Como in 2015, where ModMobili morphed into their commercial arm. I discovered Normann Copenhagen through Studio Como in 2017 and I joined their team of May that year. During my time with Normann, our region grew from two people to six; and our N. America revenue tripled, including a 40% increase 2022, continuing in 2023 (+15-20%) becoming the largest single region in the company. My love of the industry comes from the recognition of constant change; materiality, deign, innovation, new thoughts and processes. This means what worked today may not tomorrow; however--relationships never go out of style. If I might be known for anything, I hope it would be for this; I strive to always ask the question of a colleague, a dealer partner, a brand: How can I help your business grow? Listening to that answer - and responding to it, plus hitting a great team to ensure the process is successful; these are the keys to my successes over the years. Basically, I can't do it alone; I can only be successful if my efforts ensure others are also successful.I have lived in Germany,Switzerland; In the US in Chicago, Baltimore, Seattle, Philadelphia, NYC (in Manhattan and Brooklyn), Dallas, Miami, Denver and now reside in the mountains outside that city. Professionaly I have experience with every major and minor market in N. America excepting Kansas City and Pittsburgh. The result of all of this experience is my current drive to reinvent the role of an Agent, and I currently represent Vipp, Serax, Valerie Objects, Baleri Italia, Quinti Sedute and TIPTOE.
