About Jonathan Backus
I have over 3 years in Civil Engineering, 1 Year in Medical Testing, and ongoing self employment experience. Most of my endeavors begin with me taking on a task or project without prior experience and learning on the way. This can-do attitude has been very beneficial to my development professionally and personally. I was lucky to be offered the positions I have and thankful for the support to become successful. An overarching theme to my profile is management experience. I started by overseeing water main installations. I had to manage a contractor, local law enforcement and residents. Next, I had to juggle different floor's production rates and supply them with work at Amazon. While self-employed, I did mostly everything myself but occasionally oversaw an employee managing listings and tracking volume. At RD I had a team of over 20 employees working under my direction. Thankfully, I have yet to work in a field I haven't found interesting.
