NGPF HPC Design

- Lead a team of students in the fabrication of a carbon fiber composite rocket to launch to 30,000 feet- Simulate rocket flight with programs such as OpenRocket and RASAero to determine optimal fin design for maximum altitude- Interpret simulation data and generate design concepts to improve rocket performance- Manufacture composite models to perform structural integrity tests- Perform SolidWorks FEA to validate thrustplate design and use results to select appropriate material for the application

- Lead a team in the design and manufacture of an aerodynamics package for an open wheel car to compete at Formula SAE intercollegiate events- SolidWorks 3D design to transcribe real world designs to 3D model for simulation- Perform CFD on wing elements, producing pressure and vorticity measurements to determine specifications of mounting design and effectiveness of package design- Apply wet layup and vacuum bagging techniques to construct end plates and wing elements

-Collected waste from customer vessels to then be offloaded into waste system to be processed
