My experience has led me to become the business professional I am today. My career has taken me down the path from personal/commercial bank fraud and claims to identity theft and data breach, to regulatory reporting, and then currently to Global Entity Management and Compliance.Global Entity Management (GEM) is set up to operate and optimize an infrastructure that exists to meet business priorities and regulatory expectations in the jurisdictions in which PayPal does business. The Program Manager for Global Entity Management is responsible for the execution of the GEM Program processes, including entity tiering and minimum corporate governance standards, appointment of directors and officers, license renewal, creation of dissolution of legal entities and inbound partner due diligence requests. Prior to my transition to the GEM team, my previous experience at PayPal within the Incident Management and Regulatory Reporting space has granted visibility to the global structure of PayPal and its many entities across the world. Understanding the regulations and reporting requirements, and how they differ between regions and countries, has provided knowledge on how the business is run within varying jurisdictions.
