My role as a Composite Design Engineer at Alpine F1 Team sees me take on a variety of design projects around the car. Whether mechanical assemblies, tooling, cores, inserts and laminate design all parts are expected to meet the highest engineering standards at an incredibly fast pace.I developed a keen interest in Composites Engineering whilst studying at Oxford Brookes University. This culminated in my final year project, "Torsional Rigidity Analysis of a Composite Monocoque Chassis" which I also presented to faculty and industry at the Oxford Brookes Tech Show 2023.I was awarded the IMechE Best Student Award for my course performance during my time at Oxford Brookes, and I hope to continue my development as a Member of the Institute of Engineering Technology.Whilst studying I worked in various roles within our Formula Student Team, leading the Composites Team at Oxford Brookes Racing in the final year of my Undergraduate Degree. I lead a strong team of Design Engineers to develop and manufacture our own composite monocoque for the OBR23 Car.
