Joined MetLife within their Relationship Management Team to provide Global leadership for their Protection Products division ($1.1bn P&L, $90m Profit), with focus on 3 core regions, Asia, EMEA and LATAM. Responsibility for the development and expansion of Financial and Lifestyle Protection products (customer paid), working within MetLife’s Global Relationship Management (GRM) division, securing over $700m of new business revenue over a 5 year period.Global focus on supporting local operations with pipeline opportunities, sharing best practice and ensuring that strategic Global Customer Centric metrics are adhered to. Utilizing knowledge E2E insurance processes to identify and implement innovative digital solutions to stimulate enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.- Successfully implementing Corporate Strategy for Customer Centricity standards and governance in over 20 countries within a 3-year timeframe. Leading structural change programs within EMEA to future-proof specific lines of business for Strategic Global clients.- Maintained income at $90m whilst reducing the portfolio revenues by 30%. - Restructured key accounts and secured new business opportunities in LATAM generating over $500m of revenue since 2015. - Opened new strategic relationships utilising digital disruption as a USP in the US market to standardise processes and to maximise revenue opportunities. Identifying and implementing innovative digital customer solutions achieved greater customer enrichment and satisfaction, recognised through improved NPS.

Global responsibility for the development, account management and growth of creditor business within Maiden Insurance Partnerships.During this period I operated as the Managing Director of the Swedish based Life insurance company, approved by the Swedish FSA and managing a team of 15. Lead the company from creation through to annual sales of over €25m. Maiden LF was created to sell customer paid Life insurance products that were previously being reinsured by its Bermudian based reinsurance entity. Concurrently I was the Global Director for Credit Life for Maiden IIS, an entity that focused on reinsuring customer paid insurance programs within the Automotive industry (Life & P&C). Achieved 40% growth of the reinsured portfolio.Major Contributions:- Expanded and diversified the company’s international footprint by winning a 5-year mortgage credit life contract in Canada ($40m). - Incorporated and capitalised a Life Insurance Company in Sweden, built a strong portfolio of business (€25m) and established reinsurance structures to efficiently optimise risk profile. - Responding to regulatory constraints and pioneering the development and expansion of the debt waiver / debt cancellation product concepts within European markets.- Team Management - expanded out existing team to support growth

Global responsibility for the Credit Life division within Maiden International. This incorporates both Direct Insurance throughout Europe into our Swedish based Life company and Reinsurance direct into Maiden's Bermudian subsidiary.

Working within the international division of General Motors captive finance business with a core focus on maximising / optimising Insurance income for the group. International within GMAC meant everything external of the US (EMEA, LATAM and Asia). Focused on the underwriting and performance management of a wide range of products associated to the sale of a vehicle (auto, extended warranty, GAP, Credit, Wholesale, Tyre). Further responsibility for the management of the insurance for the company fleet and personal lease vehicles, balancing stable returns for insurers with acceptable premium payments.Exposed to all aspects of insurance from product creation, business analysis and pricing through to marketing to legal and strategy. During my tenure we grew the business to over £100m annual premium, incorporated a reinsurance entity in Bermuda and a direct writing Life insurance company in Sweden. Responsibility for maintenance and development of an extensive client portfolio with accountability for all aspects of automotive related insurance and reinsurance, extending to Auto, Credit life, GAP (financial and VRI), Tyre, SMART and extended warranty. Major Contributions:- Part of the leadership team that delivered the ideation and incorporation of two insurance companies and with the seamless integration of a new I.T. finance system.- Developing Regional Insurance Programs and customer propositions across sixteen countries contributing towards annual written reinsurance premiums in excess of $100 million.- Renegotiating contract and pricing terms with Insurance companies (Zurich, Allianz, Swiss Life, UKI, Ageas).- Global experience operating programs across 3 regions with extensive business travel.
