Studying both with the University of East Anglia (UEA) and The University of Hawai’i has given me many extraordinary opportunities to visit truly breath-taking locations such as Almeria (Spain), the Mojave Desert (USA) and Kīlauea volcano (USA, Hawai’i) while developing essential geologic field skills for employment. Studying geology across the world has also provided me with transferable skills in report writing, communication, laboratory work, public speaking, interviewing and data processing, critical for graduate employment.Since graduating with an MSci in Geology from UEA in July 2023, I have dedicated myself to obtaining a full UK driving licence to facilitate a career within geology. After obtaining my license in March (2024), I am now looking to leave my part-time position at Hollywood Bowl and utilise my master’s to pursue a Graduate Geologist position. In addition to the skills developed at university, my time at Hollywood Bowl has helped expose me to a workplace environment and built skills in machine maintenance and business management; skills I'm sure would transfer well to a Graduate Geologist position. I am a diligent and dedicated worker and promise to bring my enthusiasm for fieldwork and geology to the workplace.
