I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I double majored in Political Science and Spanish, and graduated with the highest university honors. In my time at the university, I worked as a Student Programming Coordinator at La Casa Cultural Latina, contributing to their mission of providing dynamic educational, cultural, and sociopolitical programming for Latine students. I became further involved with the campus community in my position as Mentorship and Education Chair for the student activist organization La Colectiva through contributing to engaging social programming and expanding interpersonal connections to the greater Champaign-Urbana community. Post graduation, I seek to continue my experience in community organization and social advocacy in a position that directly engages with historically marginalized and underserved communities.
