As Project Director I served as the Principal Investigator/Executive Producer on a multi-year research and development project to create interactive online training for the Department of Defense in the area of incident and consequence management. The Project utilized entertainment industry professionals to create a web-based training product that sought to bridge the gap between live exercises and classroom teaching.

As the founding Director and Academic Department Head I oversaw all elements of the creation of the Institute which was established as the flagship film, animation and digital media school of New Mexico. I led the design of the curriculum, oversaw the construction of the facilities and hired all the initial personnel.

I was hired by the Mayor of the City of Las Cruces to run his political campaigns and then was hired by the City to act as Political and Policy Analyst and Communications Advisor. I developed the Mayor's ideas into actionable policies, wrote speeches, and acted as liaison to community groups, other governmental organizations and the business sector.

Served as the Chief Technology Officer for the College of Education. Managed personnel, $350K budget and college-wide technology acquisitions. Managed Adoption Preview Center that housed learning material samples for the State of New Mexico. Key Achievements:• After a major fire destroyed the majority of College of Education building, successfully coordinated the return of the online internet presence within four hours and replaced the entire computer system within three weeks, before the start of the next semester.

El Paso, Texas Area

I oversaw the educational technology program at Sageland Elementary, an award winning MicroSociety school in one of the poorest areas of the El Paso/Juarez border area. I designed, installed and developed curriculum for the educational network and software and created specialized media components to complement the MicroSociety based theme of the schools activities.
