Jonathan is a graduate in Geophysical Sciences from Leeds University where he received his introduction to the concepts of coding. He has continued to develop his coding recreationally learning languages like Python, JavaScript, Java and Ruby and finding and tackling challenges like Project Euler. Jonathan is always looking for new opportunities to use his programming skills for example developing a programme to estimate and predict dice roll outcomes. In this and other projects Jonathan uses his analytical skills and planning ability, which he also uses when taking part in gaming tournaments. Jonathan is always willing to take on a challenge and take himself out of his comfort zone. For example he volunteered with the BHF in order to work alongside and interact with a wide range of people, improving his communication skills and developing his responsibilities and achieving NVQs in a range of subjects. His success was reflected in the Sunday sales results which improved from about £300 a day to over £500 with Jonathans help.
