I am a graduate of Psychology at the University of Western Ontario after taking a mix of Psychology, Business and Philosophy related courses. While working towards my degree I took summer internship positions at the Royal Bank of Canada. In year 1 and 2 I worked in the card operations department and was responsible for completing various projects pertaining to the attestation of systems utilized by the department as well as developing an exit strategy for a main RBC supplier. In my third year I was a Project Control Officer in the Auto-finance unit responsible for providing assistance and over-viewing financials of numerous projects. This past work experience gave me a strong understanding of Excel, working as part of a team and knowledge of the workings of the Canadian banking industry.After graduation I began working as part of a small team with the role of a Project Control Officer at Knob Hill Farms. In this role I was responsible for a wide array of projects relating to the management of the companies portfolio. The largest project I oversaw was the development of a boutique six story purpose built rental in the Queen and Coxwell neighborhood. This build was the companies first foray into development and represented a major shift in strategy. Along with project management I was responsible for developing investment memos on various venture capital offerings to be presented at monthly meetings to the Board of Directors.
