I was placed on the assessment team while also being the structural activity manager. My job was to assess each building every year. I would record all reports digitally and written. I would use those reports to predict which buildings have components that need to be replaced. I would also add inventory to our records if new construction was done on base.

As the Structural Activity Manager, I coordinate, prioritize, and schedule all work/projects for facilities at F.E. Warren AFB. This also involves the management and review of preventive maintenance tasks sent out to our technicians to perform every year. I work on the initial 10% of projects that need to be contracted out on base. I do this by performing the initial assessment of work with the customer and then I create a cost estimate with a scope of work. I coordinate with contractors and higher management to push the work till completion. After the work was completed, I performed a final review to ensure contract compliance from the contractor. Finally, I assess the yearly budget for replacement work, then I plan out all future corrective repair projects up to five years out.
