Supporting Yale Economic Growth Center and the Gates-funded Gender & Growth Gaps project which is pushing the research frontier globally, in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, on the gender dynamics of labor markets during structural transformation.

• Lead a research team, providing technical leadership and support on a portfolio of large data collection and research projects for clients including Boston College, Johns Hopkins, World Bank, Mastercard Foundation and others• Draft the technical parts of a research proposal to the World Bank on gender and education in Rwanda; Laterite, with REAL Centre at Cambridge University, beat 20 firms to win the bid. My team is now running the project.• Lead author of a report requested by Rwanda’s Minister of Finance and funded by the World Bank reviewing progress on the recommendations of the prominent 2018 Future Drivers of Growth report; lead author of a Mastercard Foundation-funded EdTech landscape mapping report, which I presented to an audience of 80 people including the Minister of State for ICT in Education; lead author of a qualitative midline report on a World Bank-funded community-driven development initiative by Spark Microgrants• Conducted performance management, recruitment and hiring duties and played a leadership role in the country office

• Through a World Bank partnership with International Growth Centre, was lead author of an Urbanization and Climate Change in Rwanda deep dive behind Rwanda’s Country Climate and Development Report. • Conducted research on the nexus between inclusion, urbanization and climate change, as part of the core team on the flagship report “Thriving: Making Cities Green, Resilient and Inclusive in a Changing Climate”• Researched and co-authored a profile of policies and practices to promote Kigali as a healthy city, conducting key informant interviews with a range of urbanization stakeholders in Rwanda• Co-authored a diagnostic of the Afghanistan urban housing sector in preparation for a World Bank project to support incremental housing starting in 2022

• Led a dynamic research portfolio relating to the Environment and Cities & Infrastructure themes of the International Growth Centre, according to demand from Government of Rwanda officials.• On climate change, wrote and commissioned papers and briefs on electric mobility, carbon credits, air pollution, climate change & urbanization, and which broad national-level adaptation and mitigation interventions to prioritize.• Authored and co-authored over 25 research outputs, conducted quantitative analysis to do so; specialized in well-structured, persuasive, and timely economics writing tailored to relevant audiences and policy contexts.• Built and maintained relationships with senior policymakers and senior technical staff in Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Rwanda Housing Authority, City of Kigali and Ministry of Environment.• Ran, co-hosted, and presented at events including Rwanda's first electric mobility forum and 3 housing thematic working groups with the Ministry of Infrastructure, and the National Urban Forum.

Under the Genocide Research and Reconciliation Programme funded by DfID, for which I had helped raise the funds:• Contributed to design and launch the Research, Policy and Higher Education programme, which commissioned policy-relevant research on 7 themes in peacebuilding and runs seminars for senior government officials on this research• Administrated 36 academic papers and conducted copy-editing• Reported to DfID on behalf of the Research, Policy and Higher Education department

• Research and analysis to inform the project, including cost-benefit analysis of Fairtrade certification of sugar in Fiji, a study on the costs of transport and harvesting of sugar cane, a study of the conditions under which sugar cane is profitable, and analysis to inform which horticulture commodities the project should support• Ran cost-benefit analysis training workshop for Fijian agriculture extension colleagues• Reported to European Union’s Coordination Unit

• Helped raise a total of 7 million pounds: coordinating author of a successful proposal and budget for a GBP 2.5 million project to the UK’s Department for International Development (DfID) for peacebuilding research and education• Budget-writer and compiler for a GBP 4.5 million 4-partner Rwanda Peace Education Programme funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)

• Presented to the permanent secretaries and chief executives of the ministries of agriculture from the entire Pacific Island region on the role of evidence and statistics in policy-making in the agriculture and forestry sector• Led a cost-benefit analysis workshop for staff from Secretariat of the Pacific Community and the Economic Planning and Statistics Office in Fiji’s Department of Agriculture• Conducted extensive research to inform policy and practice; for example contributing multiple elements to a Secretariat of the Pacific Community report titled “Food security in the Pacific and East Timor and its vulnerability to climate change: A report to the Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency”• Contributed to design of National Minimum Development Indicators on agriculture and forestry for the Pacific region; and travelled to Samoa, Tonga and Solomon Islands to collect data to cover the agreed indicators
