Thank you for your interest in my work! I’m a Chicago native, growing up in near north suburb Evanston and earning my Bachelors in Arts in Radio from Columbia College Chicago in 2013. After graduating I got a job working at WLS AM 890 in Chicago, first as a part time board-op and then as a full time producer, working on Bulls and White Sox games as well as Notre Dame football and basketball. Being a huge sports fan my entire life, it’s been such an honor to get to work in sports radio. Play-by-play is a great passion of mine and I have gained experience calling UIC, Northwestern, and Depaul basketball games for WCRX.For the last year I’ve worked at Door County Daily News in Sturgeon Bay, WI, doing a little bit of everything. I gained experience in news writing, high school sports play by play, and producing ads. I was the morning announcer on the 5 radio stations in our cluster with regular guests from the community and live remote broadcasts. I’ve gained a better understanding of the news gathering process and improved my news writing skills in this position. I’ve also gotten the opportunity to call basketball, football, and soccer games, expanding my play by play experience.
