 Supported 5-year, $45 million initiative to replace financial and operational systems. Worked closely with Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, and internal/external auditors to structure cost of the program to leverage the latest and most advantageous accounting rules available to minimize financial statement impact of projects. Provided monthly and quarterly financial impact statements for P&L and balance sheet (accrual and cash basis) to project leadership team, senior management and Board of Directors covering 9 themes and 40 projects. Worked on vendor selection process, requirements, design review, UAT, implementation and post-support, as applicable, for multiple projects. These included Net Suite, Net Suite Planning and Budgeting, Sales Force Lightning, CPQ and Billings and an Enterprise Data Warehouse. Primary support to reconcile dual sets of books throughout a phased approach to financial system implementation as well as reconciling and reporting historical data.

 Managed FP&A staff responsible for forecasting, budgeting and reporting for sales, marketing, finance, human resource and facilities functions and the administration of SAP BPC system. Oversaw newly created “data team” to perform a revenue restatement which required adjusting pattern and timing of historical revenue for 9 years and implementing a new revenue recognition software package over an 18-month period.  Led a team that developed company wide Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SOIP) process to align sales and product management forecasts to create a unit forecast for manufacturing. This process contributed to significantly reducing stock outages, airfreight to regions and customers, and overall inventory balances by 57% over 3 years.  Managed year long process to implement new IBM Cognos 10 Reporting system for company- wide reporting and an IBM TM1 forecast system to support new SIOP process. Liaison to IT representing all finance projects including many implementations and upgrades

 Created and managed 17 person Americas Finance Shared Service Center including Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Ledger departments. Worked with European counterpart to educate company regarding newly created Shared Service Center. Developed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the business and designed quarterly newsletters to keep the company informed and to build morale. Oversaw business side of several Finance IT projects including SAP upgrades, consolidation and transformation projects, implementation of an automated Expense Reimbursement process, and automated the Purchase Requisition and Invoice Approval process through workflow. Integral member of the integration team on several acquisitions and worked on the creation of a new subsidiary in Mexico. Finance lead on two physical department moves involving resource and space planning, offsite storage solutions and ongoing business support. Responsible for actual reporting, forecasting and budgeting of headcount, expenses and capital for over 10 engineering and product marketing departments which included companies acquired in Madison, Wisconsin, Edmonton, Canada and Munich, Germany. Finance member of 8 program/product teams responsible for designing, building and delivering new products. Tasks included creating and maintaining business models to support continued investment in product development through each stage of product cycle. Provided financial support for Vice-President of Engineering, 7 Directors and over 100 engineers. Prepared and filed quarterly 10Q and annual 10K including writing the MD&A and footnotes. Primary contact with external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audit. Managed consolidation of monthly financial packages from 14 foreign subsidiaries and multiple business units including the preparation of elimination entries.
