Event and Participant Support Chief within the College of International and Security Studies (CISS) at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Tasked with developing, managing, implementing, and evaluating CISS operations support for programmatic events and emerging requirements, while leading from a supervisory role a multi-national team in a dynamic work environment. As the face of the Marshall Center, the Event Coordinators and Participant Affairs sections engage daily with junior- to high-ranking military, civilian, and non-governmental participants attending in-resident courses and events, and hailing from North America, Europe, and Eurasia.

Responsible for development of the Center's AM&E Program while coordinating with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) to assist their personnel in standardizing AM&E across all six DoD Regional Centers.

Brigade Aviation Officer for 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division. Provided expertise and guidance regarding all Aviation and Air Defense support to the Director. Supervised eight subordinate staff with specific Aviation and Air/Missile Defense skill sets during training and deployment to a combat zone. Mentored junior managers and weapons support specialists via one-on-one simulator classes covering Aviation tactics and flight profiles, enabling better understanding and utilization of Aviation in support of their goals. Coached and supported the Air/Missile Defense employees on my team during their achievement in reinvigorating an offensive missile capability within each of the seven subordinate companies, creating a more lethal and effective organization.

Managed and synchronized 30+ staff, which included human resources, intelligence, operations, logistics/maintenance, and communications specialists, to enable effective, integrated performance among the seven subordinate companies within the organization. Primary advisor to the boss on all aspects of the organization and second-in-charge during his/her absence.

Training & Operations Manager (Battalion Operations Officer) for 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade. Responsible for all training and readiness of an attack helicopter battalion consisting of 500 employees, 24 helicopters, and 4 unmanned aerial vehicles. Led the organization through two live-fire exercises that supported the qualification of ground forces involving 24-hour support for the week long events, and one exercise which supported ground forces with 21 aircraft for a 30-day training cycle. Coordinated with the Chief of Staff (Battalion XO) and the Maintenance sections to synchronize the maintenance schedule with the training and operations plans to mitigate “overflying” our ability to sustain the fleet.

Spearheaded planning and execution of two annual exercises across three different states, including virtual and real-life elements, to prepare leadership teams and their organizations to lead in combat. Exercise planning required coordination and synchronization between multiple combat sub-agencies, the contracted exercise development team, various Directors, and the CEO over the period of a 12-month planning cycle.
