My engineering journey began with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Civil Engineering Technologies diploma program. The program's hands on approach coupled with an 8-month work-term at the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency (WSA) provided me with a solid foundation in engineering principles.Post-graduation I gained experience in hydrometrics and hydrology, managing and maintaining ~30 hydrometric stations in southern Saskatchewan. After 2 years in a technologist role, I returned to post-secondary education for a bachelors degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the U of R including a 12 month work term at Mosaic Potash Mine near Bell Plaine. I graduated with great distinction from both my diploma and engineering degree programs, and was part of an engineering capstone group awarded the Facilities Management Capstone Project Prize.
