Currently completing a Masters degree at Deakin with a major in Clinical Exercise Physiology.I am interested in a career as an Exercise Physiologist in the Community Rehab setting. I'm passionate about working with middle-age to older adults who needs treatment and/or management of their conditions, diseases or illnesses. The feeling of making a difference in someone's life in regards to changing their behavior in order to live a healthier lifestyle is what drives me in this career pathway.I'm a hardworking, motivated, reliable and cooperative individual. My eagerness to learn and always seeking constructive feedback and being able to apply them on my future exercise sessions has led to some successful initial assessment and exercise sessions. These are the key attributes I have developed throughout my placements as a Student Exercise Physiologist.During university I have been involved in working at a Community Rehab in which I really enjoyed. I had the opportunity to work with a whole range of pathologies with age ranging from 16-90 years old. I was also able to work alongside with other health professionals such as Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Dietitian which gave an insight to the role they play in a multidisciplinary team.I have also had an internship position as an Exercise Scientist Intern with Rise Health Group. I had the opportunity to work alongside with Accredited Exercise Physiologist to help student athletes (Netballers, Volleyballers, AFL and Soccer Players) develop their athletic skills, and strength and conditioning.
