CurrentMy role at Suez energy from waste plant lines 1, 2 and 3 has expanded my knowledge vastly. Along with the regular maintenance that would be expected, the role incorporates scheduled maintenance routines including preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and overhauls of plant equipment, Also on shutdowns commissioning of the new equipment. Part of a 24 hour breakdown call out system every 7 weeks. Worked 3 shutdowns a year, each shutdown lasting 2 to 3 weeks. I have worked on a vast range of mechanical equipment involved with the process of making energy including pumps, valves, hydraulics & pneumatic systems, soot blower systems, superheated steam systems, boiler systems, grate systems, condensers, lime and carbon systems, flue gas treatment systems, diesel generators, fuel systems, conveyor systems, turbines, cranes and water treatment systems. Mechanical Commissioning Technician - March 2011- March 2012 In 2011-2012 I took on the role as a Commissioning Technician for STV Line 1 and Line 2 plants, the role involved installation and testing of mechanical equipment. Working closely with the Sita technical team to provide fast and efficent mechanical assistants within on going projectsFailure mode equipment analysis technician - June 2015Currently working as part of a team looking into failure modes of assets on plant and writing new work procedures using the evidence from the project.
