Idaho National Guard E-4 Specialist promotable to E-5 SergeantI supply the Army with the fuel it needs to maintain a state of readiness at all times. I supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum-based products. I oversee its use, dispense it to various vehicles and aircraft, and make sure it is being transported and handled safely. I will learn how refueling systems and equipment are assembled sequentially, perform quality assurance, and you’ll supply and store fuel from a variety of sources.

Rig up pumps, Pump downs, production tanks, Bulk holding Tanks, and Blenders for Fracking LocationsRig in Ponds/lakes or man made pits to transfer water.

General DutiesA Roustabout works under the supervision of the Crane Operator, however when deemed necessary they may be temporarily assigned to other department supervisors including, Drilling, Maintenance, Engineering, Marine and Subsea.During this time, they will be supervised by the appropriate line supervisor for the task and expected to carry out duties in accordance with Company policies.Duties are varied but may including:Housekeeping, cleaning, tidying and correct disposal of trash.Surface preparation and painting.Assisting in preventative and corrective maintenance of rig equipment.Relieving Floor hands on the Rig Floor.Manually move equipment, tools and materials around the installation, using manual lifting aids and working ‘Hands Free’ whenever reasonably possible.Lifting OperationsA significant portion of a Roustabouts work involves cargo handling operations. There are significant hazards associated with this work which must be conducted in accordance with Company and Industry Rigging and Slinging Standards including:Inspection of cargo for potential dropped objects.Inspection of lifting slings and shackles.Inspection of cargo containers and contents to verify adequate securing.Storage of lifting and rigging equipment correctly when not in use.Identify, report and dispose of damaged lifting equipment.Using Hands-Free Tools and Taglines to control the load.

Typical work days include, building and installing rock bolts and dowels, mixing grout, shooting shotcrete, moving bags of cement, scaling, drilling, operating heavy equipment, working in and and around heavy equipment.

Transport crews and equipment to job site in the absence of the Crew Pusher.Supervise and help with rigging up and down of power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment.Visually inspect equipment before, during, and after jobs to ensure field readiness and safe operation of equipment.Conduct pre-job safety meetings with crew.Perform all duties of casing crew.Perform accurate tickets, job reports, time sheets, and other administrative formsMay serve as well site representative in the absence of Crew PusherRig up and rig down power tongs and power unitsAssist in duties requires with ongoing casing/ tubular operationsAvailable on a 24 hour basis to respond to customer needsPerform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
