I have over 22 years' experience within the health and fitness industry, both private and public sectors, servicing patients within sport health, injury rehabilitation and enhanced recovery programs. For the last 9 years, I have specialised in treatment for patients offering rehabilitation treatment and enhanced recovery programs, geared towards maximising function, independence and enabling the continued outcome for daily activities or job roles.My learning of patients has been with a plethora of both physical and medical conditions – PTSD, Stroke, Trauma & Orthopaedic, Neuromusculoskeletal, Medical & Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory and Dementia/ End of Life patients.I thrive on providing the patient centred approach within varied environments, this not only allows me to build that daily interaction with those patients but enhance the continuity towards their focussed post conditioning and enhanced rehabilitation.I organise and manage my time efficiently, maximising planning, preparation and application of my working day. Prioritising patient caseloads dependant on team requirements. Working methodically allows me to apply accurate notes related to situations or patients.I am a good team worker, using humour to develop rapport and co-operation/ collaboration. I build rapport easily and encourage connections independently as I am also self-motivating. I have no hesitation asking for support and expertise from others and I have also supported others with my knowledge.I consider myself flexible in working within team practice. I have a strong desire to develop and would describe myself as adaptable, approachable with a cheery disposition.The aim is to support my background experience within the public sector.I would very much like the opportunity to fulfil this new role because I believe I can add a dynamic and use my experience not just from my previous setting, but also current role moving forwards and contribute to the strength of the team.
