Video Operations Analyst
Current▪ Review Requests for access to Video Evidence Systems and Maintain Systems Access and a list of Personnel Previously Authorized to Recover Digital Video Evidence▪ Provide Direction to all Persons Recovering, Transporting, or Storing Digital Video Evidence in order to ensure Preservation, Integrity, and Confidentiality of all Digital Video Evidence▪ Review the Metro Transit Police Department 24 Hour Report and all incident Reports from Bus, Rail, and Facilities to identify all Criminal Activity and Civil Liability▪ Coordinate Video and/or Image recovery from Internal or External entities upon request and assign authorized WMATA VOPs Technicians to recover within an established timeframe.▪ Disseminates daily assignments, prepare daily Manpower Reports, and Weekly Statistical Reports▪ Maintain the secure storage of all video evidence.▪ Review all requests and forward copies of downloaded images to authorized parties; Retain copies of all downloaded images consistent with established policies; Maintain Master File of all video requests and downloaded recordings; Ensure proper chain of custody▪ Train authorized personnel (Technicians)▪ Assist in Examination of Video Evidence as it relates to Legal Proceedings▪ Periodically Review department Standard Operating Procedures and General Orders; Ensure compliance with Communications Assistance of Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) Standards▪ Ensure Video Images are released to authorized WMATA personnel and Law Enforcement Agencies for Criminal Investigation, to comply with Court Orders or to fulfill Public Access to Records Policy (PARP) requests.
