Seconded from ADX to Leahy’s, core role responsibilities include (but are not limited to):► Installation of 3 phase DOL pumps, solenoid valves, mag flow meters, Coriolis flow meters and various other electrical, instrumentation, and control (EI&C) equipment, as well as performing preventative maintenance and shutdown upgrades in Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Area’s► Working efficiently within site Permit to Work (PTW), isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) systems and procedures to ensure equipment and systems are safe to work on, and effectively returned to service► Maintaining diligent compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure the safety of self, colleagues and the equipment being worked with► Analysing potential risks to people and plant prior to starting work activities to identify and control hazards.

► Coordinating and leading the work crew in the provision of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, and project works, including the installation of various instrumentation including level, flow, pressure, temperature transmitters and chromatographs, and Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) such as lighting and motors► Commissioning and calibration of new instrumentation, electrical installations including 5 point checks, sensor trims and configurations, and performing Hazardous Area E&I inspections and rectification works► Creating PTW applications, and coordinating daily works with the Shift Responsible Officer and Operations personnel► Performing scheduled inspections and rectification punch list works on plant and equipment during planned outages► Acting Electrical Supervisor to provide for leave coverage, and lodging Certificates of Electrical Safety.

For Conocophillips/Bechtel On The Aplng Project - Curtis Island, Qld

► Attending and/or chairing PTW/SIMOPS meetings with the client to coordinate permit applications with planned works in relation to current plant status, Operations process targets and adjacent work groups► Issuing PTW’s to Permit Holders ensuring conditions of PTW, relevant isolations and JSEA’s were fully understood and in accordance with PTW procedures► Chairing daily pre-start meetings with the PTW Isolation crew to discuss planned works such as isolations and site checks► Reviewing PTW applications, isolation requests for HV/LV electrical, mechanical and process, and relevant JSEA’s► Attending Operations daily pre-start meetings to ensure understanding of the status of the plant► Daily data entry into the computer based PTW Register.

► Employed with Thiess from May 2010 until October 2011, then moving across to Downer Edi Engineering until completion of the project, was responsible for the installation and termination of various temporary construction wiring for applications including (but not limited to) gensets, DB’s and DB supply feeds, crane feeds, lighting and power► Installation of fiberglass cable trays and HV cable supports, pulling cables and using the capstan winch► Executing and documenting QA inspections, and rectifying punch list items► Terminating of various instrumentation.

Tru Energy Lops Project - Port Campbell, Victoria

► Employed with Downer EDI from September 2009 until March 2010, then moving across to ADX E&I for the remainder of the project, was responsible for the installation and termination of mains cable to the MCC, as well as commissioning of various motors, instruments and DCS/PLC panels in preparation for start-up ► Field motor and instrument SWA terminations including IS and non-IS in Hazardous Areas, as well as the installation of numerous Ex e and Ex d rated glands► Cable pulls and installation of cable support systems such as trays, performing and documenting QA and HA inspections, and rectifying punch list items.
