I started at Ridley as a casual cleaning the cobwebs off the roof of the warehouse but after a couple of days i was asked to come back onto shift, a couple of week on shift and i was head bagger on the shift, i was casual for only 4 months before showing how fast i am at picking up new skills, i got put fulltime on Ridleys employment and was put onto the presses less than a month later i was competent on the presses and raised the output of the line by 100% doubling the production standards we still run at today, i then got put onto the extruder and excelled on there also increasing quality and feed rates and got appointed team leader of the shift, after doing team leader in Narangba for 15 years i got the opportunity to move to Tasmania and open and commission a brand new state of the art mill for Ridley starting from scratch and getting every piece of machinery in the mill running to its peak performance, after 2 years there i moved back to Narangba where I implemented new skills and qualities i learnt from Tasmania and started upgrading the Narangba site, i have covered the production managers job and duties when he was on holidays and have a great understanding of how to run a successful business.
