A recent graduate of UAB’s Collat School of Business, being awarded a B.S. in Business Management in December of 2023. I am a self-driven, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in the accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism of any and all work I perform or submit. My enriching academic background, service-learning internship, and new professional experience have provided me with a strong foundation for both front-end customer service management, marketing outreach, strategic management, data entry, report formulation, and timely physical and electronic correspondence with other professionals throughout the industry. Current Employee of Lenderworks, a mortgage servicing company co-owned 50/50 by two major mortgage lending companies: First Heritage Mortgage and Intercoastal Mortgage; Lenderworks is responsible for servicing not only their loans, but also over the loans of over a dozen third-party lenders who trust Lenderworks to perform excellent servicing of their mortgage loans on their behalf. I currently hold the position of Interim Servicing Coordinator, a unique role in which I am responsible for servicing and managing mortgage transfers during the 1-to-3-month Interim period following the closing and sale of a mortgage loan. As the lone holder of this title within the organization, I am uniquely involved throughout the entirety of the interim period of mortgage servicing.In my role at Lenderworks, I’ve had the opportunity to implement this commitment to precision through tasks such as:- Processing paydowns to warehouse banks- Managing both incoming and outgoing correspondence, including physical borrower transfer letters- Communicating daily with mortgage lenders, warehouse banks, mortgage investors, and servicers via email and phone- Utilizing Encompass Mortgage Software for entering Purchase Advice data, insurance information, shipping details, generating transfer letters, and transferring recently sold loans to their new servicers.- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving when problems arise in the Interim Servicing period.Accuracy is essential in closing mortgages correctly and on time. Even small errors can result in costly fees, fines, or, in extreme cases, require the loan application process to be entirely restarted.In short, I am comfortable working in detail-oriented roles and am eager to take on new challenges, wear many hats, and continually expand my professional knowledge!
