Athletics played an instrumental part in shaping my character. I have developed a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with a variety of individuals. As a student athlete I gained time management skills allowing me to accomplish tasks in a timely manner in both an individual and team setting. I have developed the ability to take on leadership roles and adapt to sudden changes in my environment. Spending 30-40 hours a week with athletic-related activities on and off the road, it was crucial to balance my time to be able to succeed.In the 2016 campaign I finished with a batting average of .324, 14th in the GNAC for batting average and earned First Team All-GNAC honors.

I joined the Vikings team in the fall of 2012 and played two seasons. During my sophomore year I hit .394 and was 2nd team All-East region. While being a full time Athlete and Student I was able to maintain a high GPA and make the President's List.Baseball taught me time management, self-motivation, and determination. I figured out how to overcome hurdles, work as a team, and complete each task at hand. As a student athlete, I have learned to utilize skills such as teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and time management. I have been able to apply these life skills to achieve success on and off the field. Maintained the Presidents List with a full academic course load, even though many days and hours were spent interstate traveling on buses.
