I am a fourth-year student at Seattle Pacific University, set to graduate in the Spring of 2024. Currently, I am pursuing a major in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry at Seattle Pacific University, driven by my profound passion for science and medicine.My academic journey has been complemented by extensive practical experiences in both clinical and administrative roles. I have dedicated over 300 hours to clinical duties, where I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from those with acute respiratory conditions to orthopedic cases. Additionally, I have spent over 180 hours in clinical receptionist roles, where I have interacted with uninsured patients, handling their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.Beyond my clinical engagements, I have actively contributed to laboratory research under the guidance of Dr. Tenlen, exploring the genetics and evolutionary aspects of embryonic development in tardigrades. Moreover, I have collaborated with Dr. Delgado in assessing the antiviral activity of metformin, gaining valuable insights into experimental methodologies and data analysis techniques.These experiences have not only enriched my academic journey but have also reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in healthcare.
