I am deeply passionate about web development and find great satisfaction from assisting others in solving their programming challenges and being a mentor to my peers. I contribute to open source projects whenever I can, balancing my commitment between my family life and my pursuit of landing a small ball on a green. My professional focus as a developer is primarily within the WordPress ecosystem, where it usually involves e-commerce solutions and integrations. In my role as technical director I am the custodian of our technical tools, developer processes and a mentor to our developer team. After a good work day, the perfect evening for me involves playing with my kids and later unwinding with my fiancée over a glass of fine wine and a good tv-series. Weekends are a precious time for family activities, home renovation projects, and gardening, all of which I greatly enjoy as contrasting elements to sitting in front of a screen on work days.
