I am currently a GIS Field Technician Lead for UDC, Inc. on their Duquesne Light Co. project. This position has involved multiple different facets of work, including field collection and data QC, training and coaching of technicians, and administrative duties. Daily communication with my team of technicians and with other managers has been essential in all aspects, whether ensuring the proper following of safety procedures, distributing and discussing work assignments, or reviewing data that will be presented to the client. Maintaining project goals and duties while adapting quickly to changing circumstances and prioritizing a high degree of cross-level organizational, functional, and communicational excellence has been key to my time in this position.I am an active amateur dancesport competitor in the United States. In 2017-18, I was an assistant coach for the University of Vermont Ballroom team for both the Ballroom and Latin styles, as well as American styles. I have been competing since 2015 with my wife and together we have been finalists in multiple categories at the USADance National Championships and consistently rank in the top 25 Open Amateur Standard dancers in the USA. We love working with and inspiring others to pick up dancing as well so that it might brighten their lives as it has brightened ours.We are available to teach in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
