I am a scientist interested in applying my expertise in coatings, deposition techniques, nanomaterials and laser processing to advance current technologies.As a manufacturing engineer at First Solar, I primarily focus on improving current laser based, solar manufacturing techniques. Working with development engineers, I assist in the implementation, qualification, and sustaining of new equipment.My primary research, while a graduate student at UT, focuses on laser scribing and laser processing of a variety of materials such as cadmium telluride, amorphous silicon, carbon nanotubes, and cadmium sulfide.I have also performed other experiments, involving many forms of film depositions as well as film characterization.Specialties: Laser scribing and processing, materials depositions and characterization, nanomaterials, semiconductors, solar energy production
