North Tarrant Infrastructure, I-35W/ 820 Project

● Responsible for scheduling and managing 5 bridge construction crews and 2 Superintendents for the Self Performance Division of Trinity Infrastructure LLC. Our division performed over $100 Million in contracted bridge work in less than 36 months. ● Daily responsibilities:○ Scheduling production crews and subcontractors throughout the entire project, in coordination with each segment, while expediting the affected segment’s overall schedules.○ Providing Value Engineering and constructability solutions to the Segment Managers and our Design Department for proposed changes in the design-build process to decrease cost, risk exposure and schedule durations.○ Procuring and reviewing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.○ Forecasting, acquiring and inventorying necessary equipment, materials and tools required for contract work○ Partnering with Quality Assurance and Technical Design to deliver production that meets and exceeds design criteria and all applicable contract specifications.● Scope of work performed includes:○ Delivering a 12 span, 120,000 square foot bridge with an accelerated schedule of 120 days, 2 weeks ahead of schedule to allow the project to meet a major milestone traffic switch.○ Milling, preparing and overlaying 2-3”of high strength lightweight concrete for 75,000 square feet of existing bridge deck.○ Constructing flared columns and caps under an existing bridge, to support that bridge, and increase the span lengths.○ Erecting over 175 precast concrete caps weighing between 250,000 and 310,000 pounds each.○ Building multiple, large, traditional bridges from the drill shafts up to, and including, the bridge decks. These bridges range from 117,000 to 256,000 square feet with widths from 30 to 160 feet. All of these bridges were built with extremely constricted working area and delivered before scheduled finish dates.

Member of the TRACK3 Joint Venture Construction Management Team providing engineering oversight services for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail expansion through the cities of Dallas and Irving. The $430 million, Orange Line Project (Phases I-1 and I-2) is the first Design-Build project for the agency.Oversight responsibilities include insurance that work is constructed to the progressing design and contract documents; verification of work performed by the design builder for payment using a percent complete versus the baseline schedule; providing continuous reporting on activities observed; constant interaction with the design builder’s quality control personnel for adherence to the submitted quality control plan.
