Md-Phd Student
CurrentI am a Translational Science Doctoral Student researching genetic and drug therapies for pediatric pulmonary diseases. My work includes screening FDA-approved drugs for transcription factors such as FoxM1 and Tbx4, which are involved in cancer, tissue regeneration, and pulmonary hypertension. I am developing nanoparticle-based gene therapies targeting lung tissue to alleviate Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and designing a TBX4 gene therapy for mesenchymal cells as a potential treatment for TBX4-related lung diseases. Additionally, I use scRNA-seq analysis looking at murine and human samples to identify new transcriptional targets for gene therapies in mesenchymal cells for BPD.
