Technical Specialist managing and supporting the company’s internal business IT Infrastructure and software providing IT Services. Maintaining the IT infrastructure includes managing and maintaining the VMware virtual infrastructure as well as the supporting physical infrastructure. Management and support of all network routers, switches and firewalls. The role also ensure that those services provided deliver to the required SLA’s, This includes receiving, prioritising, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests using ITIL based methodologies and incident tracking software.Problem solving is a key part of the role and will involve the use of tools available to reduce the frequency of incidents. Work closely with service desk and 1st and 2nd line support teams. Receiving and responding to alerts, systems backup, monitoring, systems administration, restores and documentation.
