CEO and founder of Ares Payments. Ares Payments was a fintech company that aimed to revolutionize how blue-collar entrepreneurs took payments. The thesis for the company centered around the fact that a large portion of contractors still take payments by cash or checks which causes friction in the payments process. I aimed to solve this problem to increase the efficiency of the contractor's business and improve the end customers experience.I managed all aspects of the business including Product Management, Technology, Sales, Finance, and Legal.Key Achievements:• Spoke with 100+ owners of contractor businesses and identified 32 product requirements• Created a beta version of Ares Payments flagship software that was able to take basic credit card payments• Recruited and managed two employees• Recognized that my thesis for the company was incorrect and that the reason many contractors choose to not take payments electronically is the perception that taking payments by cash or check will reduce their tax burden

• Led four software engagements focusing on Customer Success ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 to standardize processes and improve technology. • Partnered with organizational leaders to gather 100+ Requirements and User Stories to build a custom Salesforce application.• Managed data migration effort on enterprise transformation project, which resulted in the consolidation of four Salesforce instances into a single instance.• Developed Vista’s Lead-to-Cash best practice process flows along with standard Requirements and Test Scenarios, which resulted in a multi-week reduction in the timeline of a standard Salesforce deployment.

Rotational Analyst – Product Development, Jul 2018-Jan 2019• Used SQL and Power BI to visualize and analyze data for both clients trading positions and for internal comparison on ION product features.• Helped position ION’s portfolio of Commodity Trading Risk Management solutions by creating a flexible database that can be used for sales, product development, and product positioning.• Participated in a DILO (Day in the life of) with a client where I analyzed pain points that the client was having and suggested improvements.Rotational Analyst – Client Services, Jan 2018-Jul 2018 • Engaged with C-Suite level employees from clients to explain and resolve the delay in processing time that the client was experiencing and helped come up with a solution to reduce processing time by over 30%.• Initiated a client engagement program where ION went to see clients on a bi-weekly basis, which resulted in over a 50% reduction in the amount of issues outstanding.• Saved over $100,000 on real estate by assessing the demand for apartments by internal employees on travel and determining that it was advantageous to acquire long-term apartments.Rotational Analyst – Project Manager, July 2017-Jan 2018 • Concurrently served as the project manager or junior project manager for 8 different exchange traded derivatives software engagements with 4 of the projects being completed, start to finish, in my first rotation.• Acquired 350 applications during recruitment for the Chicago 2018 rotational analyst program on a budget of $19,000 with 4 of the applicants being hired.• Founding member of the Chicago offices charity organization and helped lead efforts to clean up 77 pounds of trash from the North Avenue Beach along with raising over $2,000 for various charities.
