Front-end and back-end responsibilities for developing a community-driven social networking site to connect Follett’s customers and users, as well as passive and direct marketing to non-customer users. Inherited a poorly designed, non-functional Drupal 6 site and completed development, addressed performance issues, and made it production-ready.Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 migration. Began a lean development effort of the conversion of the above site from D6 to D7. Analyzed and streamlined the current functionality and implemented in Drupal 7. Features include a wall/activity stream, based on Statuses, Message, and my own work on the development version of FBSMP; an Advanced Forum discussion area; Context; Organic Groups; Goals and tasks and the associated rules and hooks to log activity for those tasks; OpenID authentication; sub-themed Drupal Bootstrap theme for responsive design, used preprocess fields for Message type display; Features to manage and migrate site settings; custom modules for Advanced Forum theming, goals and tasks progress displays, overriding View queries with highly complex business rules.Implemented Selenium automated test approach to D6 and D7 sites to promote QA involvement in automated testing.Developed OpenID 2.0 single sign on system using JBoss AS 6, Hibernate, Struts 2 and Tiles.
