I was hired to oversee the transition of the Beloit College Phonathon program from an externally managed program to an internal program run solely within our Development team. The focus of my work was transforming the Phonathon program from a tool used purely for fundraising, into a multi-purpose channel that contributes to fundraising, stewardship, and donor engagement. Notable Accomplishments:-Increased YoY donor fulfillment through phone channels by over 40% in one year.-Improved prospect contact rate from 1 per 22 calls to 1 per 14 calls in the first year.-Reduced our cost per dollar earned from call center operations by approximately 10%.My primary responsibilities included:-Hiring, training and managing 20+ employees-Writing caller scripts/training materials/updates on Beloit College activities-Pre-campaign analysis to determine segmentation, messaging, and goals-One on one coaching of employees to improve call quality-Post-campaign analysis focused on process improvement and data integrity-Collaboration with other departments to share information relevant to specific constituent groups-Responsible for identifying donors with major giving or bequest giving capacityAdditional responsibilities and projects:-Calculating prospect ask amounts based on past giving metrics-Implementation of new call center software-Designing and carrying out survey calling for other college departments-Coordinating the Alumni Board recognition committee efforts to select alumni award recipients-Organizing class Reunion Committees

I co-founded, operated, and managed a convenience store on my college's campus. My two partners and I operated this business for four semesters, during which we were able to more than double our revenue each semester. We did this by surveying our customer base to find market gaps, consistently adding product offerings to fill these gaps, and negotiating deals with premium vendors to allow us to sell signature items that could not be obtained anywhere else in Beloit. We also achieved greater than a 50% share of our total addressable market on our college campus through various marketing and outreach strategies as well as promotional events.This business model proved successful enough to win us a grant to attend the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization conference in the Fall of 2014. During our senior year, my partners and I made a deal with a group of younger students to mentor them and teach them to run the business after we graduated in return for a set profit-sharing plan. My personal responsibilities included: - Managing inventory, developing pricing strategies, and financial record keeping- Using sales data to forecast demand- Fulfilling orders and ensuring customer satisfaction- Developed a receipt and sales tracking system- Designing and carrying out surveys-Negotiating deals to provide food offerings at specific Beloit College events

This position was a summer internship working within the Strategy and Business Development Team at the Council on International Educational Exchange. The primary focus of my internship was an independent project performing in-depth market analysis on the travel patterns and preferences of the baby boomer generation. I used this research to shape and present a business plan to company executives for launching a series of International Experiential Learning programs. Some of the key responsibilities and outcomes of my project included:- Large scale data collection and analysis to produce an accurate market snapshot- Modeling a complete business plan for a series of market expansion programs- Planning a pilot program to Cuba and proposing multiple options for program expansion- Produced a written report summarizing my findings for company executives- Gave a final presentation on my findings and proposals which was presented to company executives and broadcast internationally for remote staff

In my role as a QA Technician I was responsible for overseeing quality control across multiple operational lines. The primary tasks performed included conducting hourly quality assurance tests and entering the results into corresponding software programs to ensure quality standards were met. Other duties included performing pre-operation checks to make sure appropriate sanitation standards were met before food production.

As manager for a local music group I oversaw the contract negotiations as well as booking and travel details in preparation for shows. I also ensured online orders were fulfilled and artists were paid accordingly.

As part of the outdoor staff I was responsible for ensuring customer safety and satisfaction for multiple attractions. I also handled cashier and maintenance responsibilities as necessary.
