The team is responsible for different database system which include Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL.Each of these teams is composed of two system engineers who report to me.Some of my duties include:- Planning and proposing all budgeting requirements for my teams- Analyse and propose improvements which will provide benefit both to the organisation and to the operational teams - Design and implement the necessary changes (both at an infrastructural and application level) to maintain the services uptime - Review of technical solutions documentation provided for new software products or processes- Ask for/Discuss any changes which may be required for the applications under the responsibility of my teams (bugs or logic which requires fine tuning or complete revamps)- Guide team members with any technical or non-technical issue they might have- Conduct regular one to one meeting with my team members - Conduct Performance Dialog meetings (as required by Vodafone Group) where the performance of every team member is discussed.
