I am an experienced Principal Engineer/ Team Manager with a proven track record in delivering a wide range of projects from feasibility through to construction. I have a particular interest in delivering schemes that encourage people to travel in more sustainable ways that benefit the environment and their health.I am a very driven, energetic and adaptable person. I enjoy rising to challenges and find great satisfaction in delivering schemes that improve the highway network and benefit the end user.In my current role I manage a team of Engineers and Technicians to deliver a range of projects within the city of Bristol. The majority of the schemes support Bristol City Council’s sustainability agenda and include public transport and active travel projects. I am responsible for setting the priorities of the team and working closely with internal clients to ensure that projects are delivered within agreed timescales and costs. Part of my role includes the recruitment, training, performance management and development of staff.
