• Duties include:
• Supervising full time and part time dispatcher staff of eight. Handling scheduling, payroll, annual performance evaluations, and assisting with hiring of dispatch staff.
• Assisting dispatch with 911/ non emergency calls, REJIS and CAD.
• Insuring the operation of the 911 call center including 911 phone system, Police and Fire Radio system and computer aided dispatch computer program. 3rd Party Vendor Liaison.
• Custodian of Records for 911 calls and public safety dispatch audio.
• Computer technical support for Police vehicles including in-car camera system, CAD, License Plate Reader, and other Police software.

• Duties include:
• Shift supervisor for between 4 to 7 patrol officers, 1 to 2 detention officers, 1 to 3 dispatchers, and 1 to 3 police volunteers.
• Managing payroll, scheduling, and employee evaluations.
• Vehicle/fleet maintenance, patrol vehicle purchasing, supervising patrol vehicle outfitting, budget management, and all other duties assigned.

• Duties included:
• Acting as shift supervisor and field training officer.
• Answering police calls for service, working with the community, investigating crime, writing reports, working traffic accidents, traffic enforcement and ensuring the safety of the citizens.
• Training officers on department computer systems.

• Duties included:
• Working with school administrators and Grandview C4 school district officials in creating a safe environment for the students and staff.
• Performing safety assessments on district buildings. Leading a subcommittee on the School District’s Safety Team that helped implement disaster planning and active shooter response.
• Enforcing the laws of the city and the policy of the school district.
• Working with students in both an educational role and a law enforcement role. Teaching sections of Civics dealing with Constitutional Rights and did presentations on bullying and Drug Awareness.
