CurrentCalifornia Resources Corporation – Senior/Staff GeologistJanuary 2016 – Present•Technical Resources▪ Gather and assemble diverse datasets for regulatory applications including Aquifer Exemptions, UIC permits, SB-4permits and Groundwater Monitoring Plans▪ Pioneered interpretations of the shallow subsurface in several mature oil fields including Elk Hills, Buena Vista Nose,North Coles Levee, Kettleman North Dome, and Asphalto using digital and raster well log data, 2D and 3D seismic, and water well elevation data to generate structure, isochore, net pay, potentiometric, and salinity maps, and geologic cross sections▪ Collaboratewithgeoscientists,geophysicists,reservoirandoperationsengineers,andpetrophysicists,overawide-arrayofoil and gas assets gaining a broad regional understanding of the entire San Joaquin Basin and its petroleum systems.▪ Collaborate with Exploration, Drilling, Land, HSE, Legal, Public Affairs and Communications Departments to meet requirements of regulatory applications▪ Coordinate and meet with outside consultants and agencies including The State Water Board, DOGGR, The Department of Water and Power, The Kern Water Bank, West Kern Water District, Kern County Water Agency, and Kern County Environmental Health❖ Expedited plan approvals attributable to regular face to face meetings with various regulatory agency personnel todevelop familiarity and trust• Software – Petrel, Decision Space Geology, Stratworks, IHS Kingdom, Open Wells, ArcMap, Spotfire, DSS, Power Explorer,Easy Copy, iPoint, Blue Marble, Petra, Matlab, Access, Geographix
