I coached business owners and entrepreneurs on running and growing their businesses through the Chicago Urban League's Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.- Provided business coaching to small business owners throughout the Chicagoland area, including assisting one business successfully apply for a $270,000 grant- Managed outreach projects, informed team members about project timelines and deliverables and submitted reports connected to those projects’ grants- Directed and executed the Entrepreneurship department’s communications, outreach events, and informational seminars including an Earth Day webinar- Represented the Urban League as a member of an entrepreneurship mentorship program with two other business support organizations and on a city-wide panel on entrepreneurship

o Supported over 5,000 drivers through knowledge transfer and Lyft platform readinesso Collaborated with peers and third parties to organize and problem-solve driver operationso Created and led an initiative to better serve Spanish-speaking drivers, including the translation of Lyft presentations to Spanisho Utilized CRM software and Google Suite to manage communications, logistics and operational effectiveness for over 5,000 driver’s accounts on the Lyft platform. o Created accident protocol sheet to reduce productivity and asset loses for drivers and rental partnerso Organized a Driver Appreciation Event to celebrate drivers, gauge their satisfaction with the platform and attract new drivers.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

As the Community Outreach Coordinator, I worked to provide residents in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to organize and implement litter cleanups and/or litter prevention campaigns in their communities around such issues as public health, community beautification and environmental concerns. Such campaigns include community engagement and outreach; educational presentations; supplies to carryout and clean ups and campaigns, such as gloves, trash bags, water bottles, yard signs and posters; and on-going support to ensure sustainability. • Created and executed a targeted outreach program to DC residents to implement a litter prevention behavior change campaign; adopted by multiple stakeholders in 7 Washington, DC neighborhoods • Directly engaged with campaign stakeholders, resulting in 56% of campaign materials distributed in first year of three year goal • Provided superior customer service, responding to all customer service requests within 48-hours • Supported Programs Manager in other program projects• Built and maintained outreach data in MS Excel and GIS• Made and maintained relationships with community partners to collaborate on plans and events; lead client meetings• Created and implemented an educational summer program for elementary aged children• Handled multiple outreach channels in diverse communities

Coclé Province, Panama

I worked to strengthen the relationship between community leaders and their groups with the Panamanian government and local politicians to improve clean water access in a sustainable manner to over 200 people in the rural community I lived in. Through this relationship the Panamanian government and local politicians have invested over $3,000 to improve the existing aqueduct system and have approved an additional $15,000 for a new aqueduct project. Panama City, Panamá

I worked primarily as the liaison between the Peace Corps Panamá office in Panama City and the 200+ volunteers in country, led meetings between the Volunteer Advisory Council and Peace Corps Panamá Office Staff, advised senior office staff on country-specific policy and delegated tasks of the Volunteer Advisory Council and its committees. Under my leadership in the wake of a policy-change from Peace Corps Headquarters, VAC became more focused on collaborating with Peace Corps Panamá office staff on proactive projects and programs to better volunteer's wellbeing and help Peace Corps Panamá run more smoothly. An example being a Mental Health committee to address volunteer's mental wellness resulting in the creation of a VAC Self-Care Guide and a submitted proposal for a Volunteer Wellness Network.
