With over two decades of experience in interior architecture and design, coupled with my leadership and design management skills, I'm confident I can make an invaluable impact on your next project. My passion for design and crafting unique environments drives me whilst my user-focused design ethos means my valuable insights and skills are applicable across a broad spectrum of project types and sectors. I take a thoughtful, considered approach and listen deeply to a client's requirements before committing pen to paper. This allows me to quickly build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and consultants alike, to deliver outstanding experiences for my clients and their customers. I am passionate about delivering innovative and bespoke solutions that enhance the customer experience and reflect the brand identity of each project. I have worked on a range of award-winning restaurants, bars, and cafes in New Zealand and around the world, where I have developed and refined my skills and expertise in hospitality design. I also have experience in other sectors such as aviation, workplace, residential, and exhibition design, where I apply the principles of hospitality and user-centric design to create welcoming and functional environments as I believe that the fundamental principle of ‘hospitality’ and the core purpose of making people feel welcome, enhances the human experience and aids in the success of any project. Throughout my career I have led teams across a variety of project scales and in my role as 'Experience' sector lead I have honed my business development skills in understanding and meeting the unique needs of clients in Hospitality, Tourism, Customer Experience and Retail industries. I like to work at a tactile ‘human’ scale – designing from the object or user touch point outwards - by putting myself in the shoes of the end user – imagining all aspects of the guest or customer experience from a number of perspectives and really interrogating what each unique experience requires to deliver on a client’s brief.
